UGM Staff
Celeste - Your humble Publisher, Hostess and Proprietor. I'm the one that runs this joint. I do the web design, publishing, editing, artwork and other assorted BS. I also decide what goes into the UGM. If I were the only one making it happen... there wouldn't be anything happening here. I thank whatever powers-that-be for all the talented people that do 90% of the REAL work around here and who make The UGM one of the most popular Underground Music sites on the Internet.
June Caldwell - Lead Journalist, Staff Photographer June is an accomplished music journalist who also shares photo duties with her husband, Rodger at shows they cover. June writes for American Chronicle and its 17 affiliates (including California Chronicle) and a bi-weekly column on the LA Indie music scene for Art Rocker. To catch more of June's work be sure to visit American Chronicle and artrocker.com
Alisha Ways UGM Lead Journalist On a mission to find out what’s really going on in underground music, Alisha sometimes ventures to dank and seedy spots all to bring you the noise you haven’t heard. Her avid love of music, live noise and photography propel her attempts to define the scene and illustrate with words and images all those strangely glorious things happening while you’re asleep.
Rodger Caldwell - UGM Photographer and Free Lance Journalist Rodger is a local guitarist and music photographer Extraordinaire. His photos have appeared in Fly Global Music Culture in the UK and here at The UGM . The original photo for this page before PhotoShop got to it was also done by Jerry. He conveniently just happens to married to June Caldwell and together they are the dynamic duo of the L.A. Indie Music scene.
Tim Estrada - UGM Staff Writer Tim is an intern in radio promotion hoping to one day walk in the footsteps of such oddball music personalities as Dr. Demento and Rodney Bingenheimer by bringing fun loving poppy music to the states.
Tequila Mockingbird - UGM Featured Columnist Diva of the LA underground scene who for years has been chronicling local talent, clubs and events in print for Rock City News, brings her writing online at The Underground Mine. Catch up with all the local buzz in her long-running column, LA Scoop.
