'Take a Photograph' by Dropping Daylight

by Tim Estrada

Aggressive, angst inspired emoesque harmonies drawn together with sparkling piano balladry, Dropping Daylight features skater punk vocals, but the depth lies within the craftsmanship of production.

Evoking the dramatics of Muse and Dashboard Cofessional, this promising EP settles nicely along the lines of the influential rock franchise KROQ in Los Angeles, or MTV. Hey, if this band has enough bite to drown those 'Laguna Beach' bimbos, I 'm behind them all the way! While it's not classically trendsetting, 'Take a Photograph' has enough mainstream potential without sounding dated. Take this photograph all the way to the top of the charts!
